CROCKPOT CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI

Ingredients
- Crockpot Chicken and Broccoli
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 head broccoli cut into florets
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar packed
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup soy sauce or gluten free alternative
- 1 1/2 pounds raw boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon sesame seed oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced or pressed
Rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup long grain rice
Instructions
- Frist Crockpot Chicken and Broccoli
- Then Whisk together chicken broth, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, sesame seed oil, and garlic cloves.
- Pour half of the sauce into a greased crockpot. Place chicken breasts in
- And then pour the remaining sauce over the chicken. Cook on low for 4 hours, covered.
- Next Mix together cornstarch and water and stir it into the crockpot. Stir in broccoli florets. Cook on high for 1 hour, covered.
- Then Remove the chicken, cut into large chunks, and place back in the crockpot.
- Serve immediately over rice!
Rice
- Frist Place rice, water, salt, and butter in a medium sized sauce pan. And Bring to a boil.
- Then Cover, lower heat to low, and simmer for 15 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
- Enjoy.
